Building Your Legacy
Legacy building requires focused attention and wise planning. This is done in what we call a "Forum". A Forum is a place when we meet and talk about the important issues of life; on which Legacy is built. The Forum in Roman times played the same role. We believe that we can work best, and our clients can focus on these important issues, when they are not in their everyday settings.
When I started The Legacy Forum, I lived on West Lake Sammamish, five minutes down the hill from the main Microsoft campus. Many of my clients were executives from Microsoft or from one of the Venture Capital firms I worked with. They would come to my house and we would walk out onto the dock to talk. Many profound decisions and important personal work was done just a few minutes away from the noise and pressure of corporate life. That environment made a world of difference.
Over the years I have made it a point to meet clients at vacation homes, on boats, in the mountains, on the golf course, in retreat settings, on islands, in hotels or some other private venue with few distractions. I believe we all have special places that work for us. For me it is near water, on the beach, a long drive and pine forests. The Legacy Journey

The Legacy Journey is our premier Legacy Forum. It requires your attention and commitment. It is for people who are serious about building their lives and the lives of their families, to be strong, for generations to come.
It is an excusive Forum, for the few, not the many.
There is a vetting process to determine if you are a good fit for the program. This program requires the building of a relationship of trust with our Legacy Advisors.
Our Legacy Advisors must be as certain as possible, that our definitions of Legacy are similar. We both need to be ready for the 12 months of discovery and Legacy exploration that lie ahead. This is a wonderful journey!
Length - 12 Months. - This can be started at any time of the year and subject to availability. We only work with a very limited number of clients at any one time. There is often a wait list, so please plan and call ahead.
Format - We begin with a 5-6 day Legacy Foundations retreat. There are three further retreats of 2-3 days. The retreats venues are usually chosen by you. Certain essential requirements and recommendations will be shared with you for these retreats to have maximum impact.
Before the initial Legacy Foundations retreat, you will prepare by completing a number of profiles, legacy focus exercises and other work. Throughout the year, we will have regular Zoom meetings, personal coaching sessions, legacy building exercises and much more. You will have open access to your Legacy Advisors to text, email or call.
Client Focus - The Legacy Journey is specifically designed for individuals, couples or families. It is for adults and spouses who are serious about building a Legacy that is not only financially strong but one that endures through the development of values. and service to this world. The focus is driven by the belief that Legacy that does not have the foundation of service to others, will not endure.

Length - 100 Days.
Format - A 5 day retreat that follows the same format as the Legacy Foundations.
There is pre-work before the retreat, which includes a variety of profiles and other work. After the retreat, participants have 8 integration and development coaching calls/Zoom meetings, legacy building exercises and more.
Client Focus - The Legacy Quest is specifically designed for young adults ages 22-35 years of age. We have found many young adults fail to launch because they have not identified their innate talents. nor have they developed a sense of direction or values. Knowing what I bring to the world and how I can impact and serve others, coupled with discovering what deeply matters to them. That is what we call purpose. One of our mantras is "Purpose Creates Passion". The focus is driven by the belief that Legacy that does not have the foundation of service to others, will not endure.

*There are other longer options that help the young adult find greater focus in areas such as college or professional development. Each client will be treated as a unique individual and will not simply follow a prescribed format. A variety of experiential life exploration and development exercises will be created.
