The Legacy Forum's™ recently launched Family People Office™ is constructed based on The Family Office and Private Wealth Advisor models.

Families either choose a Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) or can use the Family Office options offered by some banks or if they have enough AUM, they can form their own Family Office.

Banks and financial institutions interview their prospective UHNW clients to determine if there is a good fit for the products they offer, how their Wealth Management and Family Office division is set up and the services they provide.

Once there is an agreement the financial institution, they will analyze your Financial Portfolio. They evaluate your portfolio, your investment approach and philosophy and then provide you with a strategic report. They will advise you based on them getting to know you, your financial psychology, goals, and explain how they would manage your portfolio. They will provide a Relationship Manager to work with you.

The CPWA or Family Office advisors will continue to work with you as markets change, geo-political events happen, new products, Private Equity or Venture Capital or other investment options might be of interest to you. They assess and report to you frequently. Each institution is different but many offer regular meetings in person, group meetings and give you access to an online account to view how your money is performing.
The Foundations of Legacy™ follows a very similar process.

The Interview. You need to know what we offer and how we approach working with you, our clients. We are Legacy Advisors™ and you will have the opportunity to interact and experience this relationship and how it works. The Legacy Advisors™ explain The Family People Office™, how it works, The Foundations of Legacy™ program and process to determine if you are a good fit. That fit needs to determine if our philosophy and goal of the program is something you buy in to. Legacy building can mean many things to many people but to us it means we believe your family is your most valuable asset, and not your financial assets. We need to be sure you believe that. We also need to have your assurance that this belief is paramount in your work with The Family People Office™ on The Foundations of Legacy™ journey. Translated, The Foundations of Legacy™ is a deep, rich and wonderful experience. It does require time, attention, follow-through and a commitment to building a trusted relationship with your Legacy Advisors™. The Interview process takes from 2-4 weeks.
